WINDOWS HELP

AFTER DOWNLOADING

PROBLEM #1 : "When I run the installer, I see a popup that says "Windows protected your PC""

This is just Windows warning you against files downloaded from the Internet, and putting an extra step between you and the file, to make sure you think before you click. You simply need to discard that warning.

1. Click "More Info",

2. Click "Run anyway"

PROBLEM #2 : "When I run the installer, I get error "Setup Error! Could not read setup package!""

This error has been reported to us but we haven't found a solution. We have tested the installer on Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 10 and Windows 11 on PC and it works without issues. It is possible that this issue is related to Surface tablets but we don't know for sure.

1. Instead of downloading the "Installer" version the game, download the .ZIP version

(both can be found on the same Downloads page)

2. Unzip the files

    - Right-click on the .zip file you downloaded,

    - Select "Extract all...",

    - Pick any folder you like on your computer (for example: "Downloads"),

    - Let the extraction process take place,

    - Open the folder to which you have extracted the files

    - Run the file    Indiana Jones and the relic of the viking.exe

    - If you get a popup "Windows protected your PC" then see the solution described above.
